About Me
The greatest of my passions is our arctic nature with northern lights. Long and cold winter nights are the ones that I love the most. The same time with the low -30°C temperatures I hunt for northern lights with my motorhome.
I am Niko Laurila, a professional photographer from Porvoo, Finland.
I got interested in cameras when I was young but what really took me away was drones. That is how I started my career, as an aerial photographer. Soon after that I started expanding my job description.
My company's job description includes all the services of a professional photographer. With my equipment, it is possible to do many kinds of productions both on land, at sea and in the air.

I have had my pictures in many exhibitions in Finland and abroad.
In my hometown Porvoo I had my first ever exhibition in 2016
Photo exhibition honouring Finlands EU presidency 2019 in Haag, Holland was an exhibition I highly appreciate.
The Embassy of Finland in Nigeria held an Independence Day exhibition on December 6 2019
In 2021 I had the opportunity to participate in a big Russian exhibition in Moscow and St Petersburg. I had two pictures in the Finland Unexplored stand.
There has been also alot of articles in the magazines about my photowork and I have also made educational videos for example how to take nature photographs.
